Anakin Skywalker at the end of the Clone Wars.

Anakin Skywalker was born in Mos Espa, Tatooine, in 41BBY. Anakin does not have a father and is believed to have been conceived by Midi-chlorians. Anakin and his mother, Shmi, lived as slaves under the Toydarian, Watto. When he was nine, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn freed him, and Anakin began his studies at the temple. 10 years later, Anakin returned to Tatooine to find his mother, only to find she had been kidnapped by Tusken Raiders. Badly tortured, she died in his arms. Anakin slowly began his journey to the dark side.

The Clone Wars soon followed, and Anakin fought valiantly to defend the Republic from the CIS. Nearing the end, Anakin found out that his mentor, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, was a Sith Lord, and as Mace Windu was confronting him, Anakin rushed to the Chancellor’s office, to find Windu and Palpatine locked in combat. At that moment, Anakin was faced with a choice: preserve the light by killing Palpatine, or defend Palpatine and become the very thing he swore to destroy. Anakin made his choice, and killed Palpatine.

Personality/Traits:[]

After Anakin’s steady fall to the dark side had been abruptly halted, he became good hearted, and positive. His mother’s death remains a constant shadow, however. While training Mordred Sinar in the Jedi arts, Anakin learned to be more scholarly and wise, for the most part leaving his reckless nature behind. Anakin still acts as a mentor for him, and sees a lot of his old self in Mordred.

Anakin is married to Senator Padme Amidala, and together they have two children: Luke and Leia.

Powers/Abilities:[]

Anakin focuses more on offence than Force abilities, but nonetheless, his Force powers are extraordinarily powerful. Although he is more cautious, Anakin will still throw himself into dangerous situations without a second thought. Anakin’s primary lightsaber form is form V (Shien/Djem So). Anakin favors aggression over defense, and isn’t much of a negotiator.

Anakin’s close encounter with the Dark Side has left him with a greater sense of the Force, thus granting him certain Dark Side powers. Although he is often reluctant to do so, Anakin can use the Force to crush a man’s windpipe without physically touching him.
